- The SEPTA Market/Frankford Blue Line, the elevated train/subway, stops one block away from Penn Presbyterian at 40th and Market streets.
- SEPTA bus routes 30 and 40 stop at 40th and Market streets, within one block of PPMC. Two additional SEPTA bus routes stop within a few blocks of PPMC.
- The westbound 21 stops at 40th and Walnut streets.
- The eastbound 21 stops at 40th and Chestnut streets.
- The 42 stops at 40th and Spruce Streets.
- All SEPTA Regional Rail Lines stop at 30th Street Station. From there, take the Market-Frankfort Blue Line west two stops to 40th Street. Taxi service is also available from 30th Street Station to Penn Presbyterian.
Airport Express Train
- The SEPTA Airport train leaves Philadelphia International Airport every 30 minutes.
- Take the Airport train to 30th Street Station. From there, take the Market-Frankfort (Blue) elevated-subway line west two stops to 40th Street. Taxi service is also available from 30th Street Station to Penn Presbyterian.
LUCY Shuttle (Loop Through University City)
- The University City District's run throughout the day from 30th Street Station to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), Philadelphia VA Medical Center and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center campuses.
- The Gold Loop takes passengers from 30th Street Station to 34th and Market streets, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia VA Medical Center and then Penn Presbyterian Medical Center before returning to 30th Street Station.
- The Green Loop takes passengers from 30th Street Station to 34th and Market streets, 3701, Market Street, Penn Presbyterian, Philadelphia VAMC and HUP before returning to the 30th Street Station.
- The LUCY shuttle runs every 10 minutes during peak times (7 am to 9 am and 4 pm to 6 pm) and every 30 minutes from 9 am to 4 pm. Cost for the LUCY is $2 or a SEPTA token for the public and is free with a SEPTA pass or ID from the University of Pennsylvania, University of Pennsylvania Health System, Drexel University, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia VA Medical Center.
